Assistive Devices
The use of assistive devices for patient ambulation dates back to ancientry. Assistive devices serve many functions for a given patient:
- Broadens the base of support.
- Improves stability and balance.
- Reduces weight load on lower limb.
- Helps propulsion.
- Conveys sensory cue through the hand(s).
Canes
Canes, made of either adjustable aluminum or wood, are the simpliest of the assistive devices. We offer a wide range of canes available for our patients:
- Cane with crab foot attachment

Crutches
Axillary crutches provide the best trunk support and can transfer up to 80% of body weight. We can supply crutches of all three major types:

Walkers
The folding, rolling and platform walkers are variations of the basic design to enable the patient to get about more comfortably with the least amount of energy expended possible. Walker come in a variety of types:
- Standard walker
